IHM TROPHY CASE HISTORY

Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish School
starting playing sports in the year of 1970. Some of the original sports were
football, basketball and soccer. The original team logo IHM Mustangs, and team
colors of kelly/green and yellow/gold still stands today. Over the past 35
years IHM students participated in many CYO sports and won a lot of trophies so
the school needed a trophy case. The IHM Trophy Case was donated by Doug
Alexander and Falls Lumber, in the year of 1970. Obviously IHM is one of the
more athletic schools in the CYO conference.
IHM student athletes continuously win awards year after year because of
superior coaching and talented student athletes. IHM has so many trophies we
can barely keep them all. So every three years they recycle the trophy’s and
give them to Special Olympics. The most
recent trophies awarded over past few years on display in the trophy case are
listed below.
