The honor roll is a recognition of kids who try really hard to get good grades. It shows everyone that kids care about their schoolwork. All of these students are responsible and can get their homework in on the day that it is due. By looking at the honor roll, you can see who is getting good grades. Students have four attempts to get on the honor roll every year. The three types of honors are 1st, 2nd, and 3rd honors. No matter what honor you are on, you are always a good role model for another student.

1st Honors

1st honors is when a student gets an A in every single subject, including the special subjects, which are Physical Education, Spanish, Computer, Music, and Art. The students that can get this are students in 3rd grade through 8th grade. To get 1st honors is quite a difficult task. These are responsible students whose work always comes first. They try to maintain these good grades. Below are all of the students who made 1st honors in the 3rd quarter of 2005.

2nd Honors

2nd Honors is when a student gets A’s and B’s in all subjects including the specials. These students are once again in 3rd through 8th grade. A student must get at least three of those A’s in Religion, English, Reading, Social Studies, Math, and Science. Just like 1st Honors, the students work really hard to get on 2nd Honors and maintain these good grades. Below are the students on 2nd honors in the 3rd quarter of 2005.
