The new
science lab is in Mrs. Falanga’s homeroom. They modified the room during the
summer vacation; many students were excited to see what the new classroom would
look like. IHM is very fortunate to have
added the new science lab to their school over the past summer. The new science lab is a lot better than the
old room that was in there. It consists
of new carpet, counter tops in place of desks with new stools, and new shelves
and cabinets at the side of the room. The desks are great and they have very
spacious cabinets for all of the student’s books.
The classroom also has a new Sympodium for Mrs. Falanga and the students to use. This
new addition adds to the collection of IHM’s technological advances. The Sympodium acts
as a smaller version as the new SMART Boards.
As you write with a pen with no ink, the image shows up on a pull-down
screen. Not only are the students enthusiastic about the new adjustment of the
classroom, Mrs. Falanga is also full of excitement. All of the workers who modified the room
worked very hard to make all the changes. I really enjoy working in the new
room. I’m really glad that Mrs.
Falanga’s old classroom was transformed into the science lab. There are many
new activities to enjoy. Mrs. Falanga is
giving us the chance to have fun and enjoy the new classroom.
In the new science
lab there are many new experiments to do. Students that perform the experiments
in science class are very happy to have the new technology to work with. It is
easier to do some experiments because there is more space to work. There are many kinds of experiments you can
do. You can do biological experiments
which involves dissecting animals, and looking at objects under a microscope.
Other classes can use the
science lab if Mrs. Falanga gives the class permission. Mrs. Falanga also teaches religion in the new
science lab. Having it helps the
students and Mrs. Falanga because they have more space to work. The other
classes really appreciate being able to use the lab. They might also have some experiments to do and
they benefit from being able to do them in the lab compared to doing them on
the desks in their classroom.
The new science lab is also
easier to clean up. It is not a big hassle to clean it up since the tabletops
can be wiped off very easily and efficiently.
Another advantage is that water doesn’t get inside the student’s desks,
ruining papers and deteriorating books.
The students at the desk have cabinets that are divided in half so that
their books arte not in the way of any experiments they do.
The majority of the students
here enjoy having the new science lab.
Overall it is a major advancement to the students, and teachers.
Everyone here as a great appreciation for the science lab and hopefully
everyone will for a long time. Everyone
here benefits the new lab and it makes teaching the
