The IHM
playground begins to swarm with kids when the second and third grades storm
onto the blacktop. There are kickball
games played, as well as fun, interesting games being played on the jungle
gym. Not everyone wants or needs the
excitement of the playground. There
are also many groups of kids that take to the shaded areas of the playground
to relax from the hectic day of school.
The boys of the third and fourth grade mainly play kickball and play
in the field, much to their enjoyment.
The girls of these two interesting grades are a bit more diverse. Many enjoy the playground while others jump
rope, talk, or run around the blacktop.
When asked what his favorite playground activity is Cody of the second
grade said that he most likes to play games on the playground and blacktop
during his recess. |
