It is almost the end of the year and the 8^th grade has a lot of things coming up. On May 4^th, we went to Columbus, and on June 7^th we are going to Cedar Point. After we get back from spring break, we had May crowning which was on May 7^th. After May crowning we will be getting ready for Graduation which is on June 4^th.

When we went to Columbus we met here at IHM at 6:15 a.m., then we departed here at 6:30 a.m. When we arrived at 9:00 a.m., we went to Santa Maria, and then at 10:15 am. We went to the Ohio Supreme Court. For lunch we went to Wendy’s at 11:15 a.m., then after lunch we went to the State Capitol Building and we had a tour at 12:00 p.m. Then at 12:45 p.m. we met with the State Senator, Kevin Coughlin, after that, at 1:30 p.m. we sat in on a session of the Ohio State Senate. Then at 2:15 p.m. we went to COSI, then after that we went to Easton center at 4:30 p.m., and there we went to Game works and ate dinner. We left there at 6:00 p.m., and headed home. We arrived back at IHM at 8:30 p.m.

In May we had May crowning, and at May crowning we crowned Mary. Only one person could crown her, that person is Alison D. and her helper is Mariette.

On June 4^th we will be graduating, and when we graduate we get our diplomas, and that is our last official Mass together as 8^th graders. It will be sad and I’m sure that everyone will miss this wonderful school. Everyone should be grateful that their parents sent them here because it has been the best nine years of my life. I hope you all will have a great time here at IHM.

On June 7^th we are going to go on a field trip to Cedar point. We will leave here around 8:00 or 8:30 a.m., and we will get there around 9:30 or 10:00 a.m. We will stay there until 8:00 p.m., and that’s when we will come back to the school and get picked up.

On June 8^th which is the 8^th grades last day of school, we will have a picnic, at the picnic we will just hang out and play some games, and have a great time together.

The time we spent together will be a great time to remember. We laughed, we cried, we smiled, and we frowned. We thank the teachers and our parents for giving us the opportunity to share in such a great a wonderful thing.
