Welcome to the I.H.M. 7^th Grade Volleyball Team Webpage!

You think you know… but you have NO idea!

The 7^th Grade Volleyball Team had an awesome year! We became closer as one and as a team. We had great practices, the best coaches we could ever ask for, games that we LOVED to win and succeed in, and memories that we will remember for a lifetime. We had many successes and many faults, but as long as we learn more every year we will come out as one whole at the end. The members of our team are: Nikki D, Heather B, Emily Z, Evan Z, Rachel M, Alex D, Maria S, Stephanie D, Erin R, Sam L, and Holly B. We all worked very hard together this year to learn more about ourselves, the game, and each other. The tournaments were extremely hard and we tried our best, but our best was not good enough. Next year will be our last and final year together as a team so we need to work as hard as we can to achieve our top goal… winning the Championship.

Some of the girls this year have been with us since the beginning. It seems like every year they get better and put more effort in winning and trying their best. This year we learned more about positioning, serve receive, setting, spiking, blocking, bumping, serving, and tolerance. We were together two weeks for practices before the game season started. Our team mascot last year, Alex D., came back and helped us this year by recovering from her injury to her knee mid-season. There was one girl who came back from a two year break, Heather B., who put forth a lot of effort this year while keeping up with her softball season. All the members of this team have all been together for 9 years, and we’ve all learned so much. I would like to thank the coaches, the team members, and the families and friends who made it to the games and supported us. We couldn’t have done it without you. Good Luck everyone! Let’s have an even better season next year!
