Instructional Basketball

 

       Our last sign-ups for this year will be Saturday September 27, 2003, they will start at 9:00 am in our Parish Community Center. From the looks of the sign-ups we have so far, it looks like we will be having a great year. So any 1st or 2nd graders interested in playing please come. Don’t miss it!!!!

 

       Although our season won’t begin until the beginning of January we are pumped and ready to get this season going.  This year we intend on teaching our young-ins the basics and fundamentals of Basketball, such as dribbling, passing, shooting ect.  Their will be separate teams for boys and girls, depending on how many sign up will depend on how many teams there will be.  All games and practices will last around 8 to 9 weeks, on Saturday mornings.

 

       Any 8th graders interested in helping with the scoreboard and refereeing please contact our instructional basketball advisor.  We can’t wait to see you there, so please come.  “It was so much fun!!” Max P. (Grade 2)  Parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, family, and friends are more then welcomed to come and watch their little ones show their skills!

Why was it so fun?  “ Because basketball is my favorite sport and its  a blast hanging with my buddies!!!!!”
