YOU
THINK
YOU KNOW…BUT
YOU HAVE
NO IDEA
For the past couple of months the I.H.M cheerleaders
have been preparing for the 2003-2004 school year. They have done numerous things to improve
their cheering skill. Some examples of this are a nine-hour UCA camp (Universal
Cheerleading Association), a three-day camp called
As most of you
should know, the IHM Cheerleaders are known for their advanced skills in
cheerleading and their excellent sportsmanship. For three years in a row, the
girls have been placed as number one for the CYO Cheerleading Competition.
Hopefully, this will be our fourth year! The coaches, Mrs. Collins and Mrs.
Foti, have been so supportive of us and they are always so positive and bring
our spirit up, and we all know that in cheerleading spirit is the number one

if your interested, make sure you’ve had some experience in gymnastics and/or
cheerleading. Also, you have to have a positive attitude at all times, even
though it might sound tough. You’re going to have to be a good listener and
always be ready to jump around and cheer! Always be a good sport and remember
that winning isn’t everything. JUST HAVE FUN!!!
You should try out only if you have the
ability to cheer, unlike some girls who try out only to win the title as an
I.H.M. Cheerleader, but hey, who wouldn’t?
