This has been a very fun year for the seventh grade. We learned things
from algebra to seamless backgrounds to the different types of energy, not to
mention our loving Henry VIII. Recently, 7A cleaned up Ross Park on May 5th. We cleaned the sand box, spread mulch around,
pulled all the weeds up, and tried to make it a more pleasant place to be. Then on May 10, 2004, we went down to West Virginia and visited Oglebay and the Challenger Learning Center. Everyone enjoyed this trip,
especially the bus rides. We also went
to the annual seventh grade visitations to the local Catholic High Schools.
These really helped us in our big decision of which high school to go to after
our eighth grade year. We are currently
very excited and pumped up for the seventh grade verse the faculty volleyball
game. The faculty is going down! Now that the year is ending, and finals are
coming up everyone is busy. The
actuality of the year ending and us actually going to be eighth graders is
coming into mind. Run for cover. Also, our sports teams did rather well this
year. The 7th grade girls’
softball team went to the championship for the third year running, making a
total of five championship games. And
the 7th grade girls’ basketball team won their championship game
against St. Matthew. The seventh grade boys team made it to the semifinals.
They also beat the eighth grade every time they played them! The 7th grade also participated in the
2003-2004 school musical, Pirates of Penzance. The production was a huge success and we look forward to our
shot at the stage next year. In all I think you can see that we had an awesome
year and look forward to the next.
